Dear Diary, 

I was just reminiscing on one of the famous phrases known to me in the earlier times of television, "What you talkin' 'bout Willis?!" And this weekend, I had a chance to meet face to face with the famous character known as Willis- Todd Bridges!

Right outside on the white carpet of Voyeur Nightclub celebrating at a BET's Pre-Awards party, I got a chance to discuss some of Todd's recent projects, his views on the entertainment business, and some of his remarkable experiences.

Todd Bridges was one of the first black faces on television in the same era Michael Jackson and his family became stars. He mentioned the pain of losing Michael who was a good friend.

Having introduced the world to an array of brown skinned talent- 25 years later Todd Bridges is still knee deep in the game! With huge credits under his belt for his role in the popular show, "Diff'rent Strokes", the epic movie, "Roots", appearances on "The Facts of Life", and more recently, "Everybody Hates Chris" and the recent release, "That's My Boy!"- he's still in action!

Todd and his wife are "no longer moving to the beat of just one drum" as TMZ reported and have ended their 14-year marriage as Todd announced recently on Twitter. He beat the media to the breaking news and stated their, "lives are going different directions".

Todd is staying busy with his new movie release "That's My Boy!", a book documenting his personal and professional life story, "Killing Willis," which is in stores now, and a nightly show, "The World's Dumbest" airing on 2TV2 Thursday nights at 9:30pm.

Delicia: What brings you to Voyeur tonight?

Todd: I came to support BET. I think anytime we have an opportunity to support our people, we got to. We don't do enough of that. We got to do more of that. This business is thriving and there's a lot of room for a lot of us. But we need to start helping one another to move further along in this business. And that's something that needs to start happening right away.

Delicia: Yes, I agree with you.

Todd: [On helping and supporting our people in the business] It should have been a Tyler Perry or it should've been a Spike Lee. That's what it should have been. But Adam Sandler gave me my break so I'm with him.

Delicia: So right now, [Todd] is working on, well his movie is out- "That's My Boy!" starring Adam Sandler and I'm really excited about seeing that. How was that experience?

Todd: It was a lot of fun. We had a good time working on it. He let me be me. I had a good time being crazy and wild.

Delicia: So what was your role in the movie?

Todd: I played myself in the 80's. Me and Vanilla Ice played roommates. So I'm buckwild.

Delicia: Wow, I'm excited to see that. Are you looking forward to doing anything else this weekend?

Todd: This [event] is it for me this weekend. I got a baseball game tomorrow. So this is it!
