Have You Tried MAC's New Permanent Nail Lacquer?

Dear Diary,

I'm so glad that MAC Cosmetics finally got on board the nail craze!

We all know MAC for the great makeup collection they carry. Well now, they not only carry just the original 8 nail colors because last week they introduced their permanent nail color collection of 30 more colors you can love and enjoy. And there will be 65 new colors being released throughout the summer.

In this collection, there are some fan favorites like the limted edition, "Spirit Of Truth," a blue color from the Wonder Women collection. There are also shades of glittery red called "Sparks on Screen", and "Nocturnelle" an ebony color. The polishes come in three types of finishes: pearl, frost, and cream.

MY personal favorites are "Girl About Town", "Pink Nouveu", and "Morange." They are all great to match up with their lipstick and lip glass. By the way, they make great gifts for the holidays or a friend's birthday.

Colors were launched in Nordstrom this July and will be released in department, specialty stores, and internationally in August. All Nail colors cost $16 each.

Ive tried sooo many "quality" polishes. How permanent is this one? Have you tried it because Ive been doing the uv gel polish because it stands up to all the bottle washing and hand scrubbing I have to do. Is this MaC lacquer up for the challenge?? lol

Delica the color is not permanent it last just as long as similar ones that you have used before. their nail color collection is what is permanent.

It is a little crazy for the price...I like Butter London's nail polishes and those are a bit pricey too. I'll try MAC's and if I'm satisfied with it, then I won't mind spending the money. Delicia is right, UV gel has been my best friend especially since I'm a swimmer and regular nail polishes are always chipping! If MAC doesn't chip when I go for a dip...it is a winner in my book. I like the shades "Screening Room" "Girl About Town" and "Russian Red"!
